Amica Mutual Insurance Company (Amica Mutual), the oldest mutual insurer of automobiles in the U.S., was founded in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1907. Amica’s corporate headquarters moved to Lincoln, Rhode Island, in 1994, and the company now has 44 offices and more than 3,700 employees nationwide.
